A FILM inspired by the Staffordshire Hoard was shown to the public for the first time in October 2013.
The Last Dragon Hunter – a 30-minute short film based on the 'Staffordshire Saxon' – will premiere tomorrow at the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery in Hanley.
The production combines live action with authentic animation to tell the story of a young boy who runs away following the death of his father.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council funded the £10,000 project, a collaboration of BIGred Studio in Burslem and Chris Stone Films, which will be used as part of a public hoard exhibition called The Kingdom of Mercia.
